Tim Tebow was voted as the NFL's most "overrated" player by a group of his peers. Adding further insult, Tebow absolutely ran away with the title by a crushing margin. I know... it's absolutely shocking that a guy who's most important role is on punt team yet he garners more media hype than anyone in the NFL would be considered overrated by other NFL players... If that wasn't bad enough, the real QB for the New York Jets, Mark Sanchez finished tied for 2nd behind Tebow in the poll. Tebow took 34% of the total votes to earn the top spot while Sanchez finished with 8%. Not surprisingly, Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo also finished with 8% to split the #2 spot. Michael Vick finished next with 4%. I typically think of these polls as useless, but coming from a group of NFL players, it at least shows you how guys around the league think of some of the most overhyped players in the NFL.
