• Vick Has Reportedly NOT Been Benched

  Despite several reports to the contrary yesterday, three separate sources have told the Associated Press that Eagles maligned QB Michael Vick has not been benched. 

  Vick made quite a bit of noise due to his comments following the Eagles' bad loss to the Falcons on Sunday where he appeared to be essentially giving up and saying he was fine with Andy Reid benching him if he chose to do so. 

  Subsequently, several bloggers reported that Vick would likely be benched, but it appears, at least for now, that reports of his demise have been greatly exaggerated...

• Tim Tebow Voted NFL's Most Overrated Player by Peers

  Tim Tebow was voted as the NFL's most "overrated" player by a group of his peers. Adding further insult, Tebow absolutely ran away with the title by a crushing margin. 

  I know... it's absolutely shocking that a guy who's most important role is on punt team yet he garners more media hype than anyone in the NFL would be considered overrated by other NFL players... 

  If that wasn't bad enough, the real QB for the New York Jets, Mark Sanchez finished tied for 2nd behind Tebow in the poll. Tebow took 34% of the total votes to earn the top spot while Sanchez finished with 8%. Not surprisingly, Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo also finished with 8% to split the #2 spot. 

  Michael Vick finished next with 4%. 

  I typically think of these polls as useless, but coming from a group of NFL players, it at least shows you how guys around the league think of some of the most overhyped players in the NFL.

• Ndamukong Suh Voted "Least Liked" in the NFL

  Lions controversial defender, Ndamukong Suh has been voted the NFL's least liked player according to a fan poll conducted by Neilsen and E-Poll. Suh finished last with a mere 19% positive rating. Not surprisingly, Chicago Bears QB, Jay Cutler was not far behind finishing in 2nd place with only 22%. Quite ironic given their linkage due to what some call a questionable tackle by Suh on Cutler on Monday Night Football this week. Mike Vick rounded put the bottom 3 with 23%. I'm actually surprised Suh finished below either of the two QBs. And if things continue along the current path, Cam Newton may not be far behind.
