Lebron James led the Miami Heat to a 101 - 93 overtime victory over the Chicago Bulls Tuesday night, pulling the Heat within one game of the NBA Finals.
Lebron led the Heat with 35 points, Wade had 14 points, Chris “The Praying Mantis” Bosh had another solid game with 22 points, and Miller and Haslem provided a spark off the bench.
The Heat are finally developing into the championship team they promised during “The Celebration”, and look to be favored in a matchup against either the Dallas Mavericks or the Oklahoma City Thunder.
In other Lebron-related news, the Los Angeles Lakers are interested in former Cleveland Cavaliers coach Mike Brown. Brown is considered the front runner for the vacant coaching job that became available after the legendary Phil Jackson departed. Some sources say that Brown has already been offered the job at $4 million a year.
If Brown does accept the offer from the Lakers, it’s very possible we could see a Mike Brown and Lebron James reunion of sorts in the NBA Finals next year. However, Mike Brown will be on the opposing sidelines this time, coaching another diva superstar clad in gold and purple.
