Linsanity has returned to Madison Square Garden.
Jeremy Lin had another solid game on Sunday to power the Knicks past the defending champion Mavs, 104 – 97. In his first game since losing to the Charlotte Bobcats, Lin showed why the hype surrounding him is well deserved.
In addition to 28 points, he also recorded 14 assists.
However, he continued to struggle with ball-control, giving up 7 turnovers.
Lin received plenty of help from J.R. Smith (15 points), Steve Novak (14 points), and Amare Stoudemire (11 points).
This was Smith’s first game as a Knick since returning to the US from playing pro ball in China.
Carmelo Anthony did not dress for the game, out for the seventh straight game due to a groin injury.
Dirk Nowitzki led Dallas with 34 points and 5 rebounds.
