First day of practice under the new staff. Was a blast--everybody was flying around and having fun. It was really good just to be back out there going over plays instead of just lifting and running. All I can say is we look kinda good even though we were in shorts and helmets...

What's up Yardbarkers- I would like to wish everybody a happy Thanksgiving -- hope everybody eats a lot of turkey, mac & cheese, greens and the rest of the good sides and desserts. Yesterday was a good day for my foundation -- the Shaun Smith 91 Ways Foundation. My mom and dad handed out 91 turkeys -- with a lot of sides to go with the turkeys -- at Penn Wortman Senior Citizen Center in Brooklyn, where I grew up. My mom said the people were hugging her and saying thank you, and asked her to "tell your son we really appreciate what he's doing." Also, it was a good day because a couple of my teammates and I teamed-up with the Cleveland food bank, and we each donated as many turkeys as our jersey numbers. We helped pack the boxes with other canned goods to go with the turkeys -- sometimes just doing small things makes you feel really good. Hopefully everybody will have a good Thanksgiving, and hopefully we win this Sunday. Go Browns!
