Troubled Georgia Bulldogs running back Isaiah Crowell was arrested early Friday morning in Athens, Georgia on weapons charges.
Crowell, a native of Columbus, Georgia, was arrested and charged with two felonies and a misdemeanor. Crowell was charged with a felony count of possession of a weapon in a school zone, one felony count of altered identification mark and a misdemeanor count of carrying a concealed weapon.
Crowell was arrested at 2:20 Friday morning after being stopped at a vehicle checkpoint. His bond was set at $7,500.
According to the University of Georgia Athletic Association Policy, student-athletes charged with felonies are immediately suspended from their teams.
Crowell has struggled with discipline issues last summer when he was suspended for the first quarter of their victory over Vanderbilt and was suspended for the entire game against New Mexico State.
