The Detroit Tigers have bolstered their roster and their chances at winning the AL Central by picking up the Miami Marlins' Omar Infante and Anibal Sanchez.
The Marlins are having a disappointing year having such after high hopes to start the season. Infante and Sanchez being moved could be just the start of a series of moves for the Marlins, who appeared to have given up on the 2012 campaign.
Infante fills a pressing need for the Tigers at second base as the Tigers have an MLB worst .201 batting average for its second basemen, Ramon Santiago and Ryan Raburn.
The Marlins will get back one of the Tigers top pitching prospects, Jacob Turner. Turner has started three games for Detroit this season going 1-1 with an ERA of 8.03.
