Deion Sanders To Coach High School Football
Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders announced that he will be coaching high school football in the upcoming season.
Sanders told the Dallas Morning News that he will share head coaching duties with two others at Prime Prep School, a charter school that Sanders is opening up this fall in Dallas.
The other two head coaches are his former Cowboy teammates George Hegamin and Kevin Mathis.
The school will only play eight games rather than the ten the others will play. They will also only play just one home game at a local community college. Prime Prep will play in the University Interscholastic League and will be a 3A school. The UIL goes up to 5A.
Sanders will still be a part of the day-to-day operations despite his job as an analyst on the NFL Network.
