Week #10 Sunday NFL review
By: Turner Sports Desk
Another incredible NFL Sunday just chocked with surprise finishes. I believe my dog beat me in my neighborhood football pool. It was that ugly folks. That said...here is the NFL Sunday in review.
Atlanta bests the Ravens - I've always believed the Falcons are the team that just could not win a big game when it mattered. Well they won a huge game versus the Ravens Thursday night. Matt Ryan is getting it done but it is the running game that is holding the line in Atlanta.
Wade out - Garrett in and the Cowboys win - No one saw that coming but the Cowboys looked like the team people put in the Superbowl before the games started. The Jaguars get a gift from the football Gods - Two words...HOLY $#*!. Texans nation has to be sick this morning. That is a game you have to just forget. The Patriots go to Heinz field and gut the Steelers - While I respect the Patriots, I did not think they could go into hostile territory as a one dimensional team and beat the Steelers. Guess what...they whipped the Steelers and consider me impressed. Denver pounds the Chiefs - Considering the last time I saw Denver they were being violated at home by the Raiders I did not expect them to beat the Chiefs. Apparently the Broncos wanted to redeem themselves at home. Mission accomplished! Are the Chiefs falling back to earth after an incredible start? Miami finally wins at home - Tennessee had Randy Moss and a bye week but the Dolphins get it done despite losing the 1st and 2nd string Quarterbacks. The Titans did not integrate Randy Moss into anything of note and he was not even in the game at the critical point towards the end. The Bears beat up the Vikings - The Bears offensive line mustered up enough protection for Jay Cutler to slice and dice the Vikings secondary. The Vikings are in serious trouble and many are wondering if Favre should sit while Tavaris Jackson gets some time to play. The Bills get their first win! - I kept picking the Bills over the last couple of weeks because they were playing good football. So the week I pick against them they win. Go figure! And the rest...
The Colts get back on track - Next man up appears to be working in Indy because no matter who they put in the lineup they seem to produce. The Bengals are done and the Marvin Lewis tenure is likely over in Cincinnati. The Buccaneers continue to impress - The Bucs may not be the best team in the NFC but they are proving that they are among the best teams. They have the right formula for winning and they are getting it done. The Panthers are playing for the draft position at this point. The 49ers survive the Rams - Quietly the 49ers are pulling themselves back into contention in a very weak NFC west. The Seahawks rebound at the expense of the Cardinals - Two underachieving teams are pretty even so choose the best QB. The Seahawks have a QB and the Cardinals have a mess. Monday Night Football Prediction
The Redskins will surprise the Vick led Eagles - The Eagles are the sexy pick but this is a division game and the Redskins match up well versus the Eagles. The real key in this game will be the offensive lines. The best offensive line will win. TSD Pick Redskins.
