Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy is our U.S. Army All-American Bowl NFL Player of the Week. McCoy, a 2006 U.S. Army All-American rushed for 185 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries in a 34 to 7 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
The Eagles star running back has a history of athletic excellence. At the University of Pittsburgh he set the NCAA record for most touchdowns in a player's first two years with 35. In his brief college career he also earned a number of other top honors. As a high school athlete, McCoy is widely considered one of the best running backs to every play in the state of Pennsylvania, finishing with 6,440 yards and 75 touchdowns.
