Vontae Davis in the Yardbarker House!!
What's up Yardbarkers? It's me, your boy Vontae Davis with the Miami Dolphins. Man, that feels so great to say. I have to admit...The day of the draft when I got the call was one of the most exciting days of my life. I can't even describe the feeling that I felt when the call came in. Being chosen in the 1st round just like my brother, Vernon, that was such a great feeling. The only other set of brothers chosen in the first round were Eli and Peyton Manning, Now they can add Vernon and Vontae Davis to that list.
Naw but really, I am very thankful to be a part of such a great team like the dolphins and to be working with Coach Parcells. I'm enjoying my time here in Miami. My days consist of working on plays with my teammates and learning from the Veterans that have taken me under their wing. The weather here is great and I'm getting to enjoy a little of what Miami has to offer but my main focus right now is learning the playbook and proving myself out on the field.

I am very excited about our D this year and I think we have what it takes to take the AFC East again, even though nobody else is giving us a chance against NE. Glad to hear Will Allen's helping you. Hey man, you're a great player... watch out for that first break on your read though bro! I see the double-move and playaction kills ya and Terrell Owens LOVES putting the double-move on corners!!! Trust me! lol.

Mr. Davis, you could not have fallen into a better situation than to be in Miami. When Parcells is done building that team, it'll be a contender for the division and conference titles.

You are going to have a great secondary what with Sean Smith on the other side, that will be a great corner tandem for years to come, congrats man, but its the first step, Miami is a good time and i know you can hold it down bro
