With just three days until the megafight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, the fighters and their handlers took to the stage inside the KA Theater at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nev. to hype up their Sept. 14 bout. In a short press conference both fighters gave a less than a minute speech on why they will win come Saturday night, but it was Mayweather who once again left the crowd with a memorable quote. “I’ve been here before so I know what it takes. A guy who is 42-0, he hasn’t faced 42 Floyd Mayweather’s cause he would be 0-42,” Mayweather said. Mayweather went on to talk about how he was made for moments like this and that he is better than any other fighter. “Whatever any fighter can do good I can do great. I was born to be here, born to be at this level. I’m at the pinnacle; I’m the face of boxing. “ Canelo (42-0-1, 30 KOs) gave a short blurb on himself, but seemed as confident as Mayweather (44-0, 26 KOs), all though he didn’t say anything we haven’t hear
