Hasim Rahman has joined the ranks of Sky Arena's first Super 8 boxing tournament on June 4th at The Trusts Arena, Auckland. This will be the biggest boxing event held in New Zealand since I was involved with David Tua vs. Shane Cameron in 2009. In fact it’s the biggest heavyweight boxing event of its kind. Five of the eight fighters have now been announced; their names alone make this the biggest card in New Zealand history. And there’s more to come. The fighters will be competing for a share of $500,000.
