Wladimir Klitschko's heavyweight world title showdown with Jean-Marc Mormeck is still set to go ahead despite the Ukrainian being hospitalized by abdominal pains just eight days before the fight. "Wladimir Klitschko had treatment for renal colic, but the fight is scheduled to go ahead," spokesman Klaus-Peter Dittrich told AFP on Saturday. He is reported to have had a kidney stone removed. Klitschko, who holds the WBA, WBO and IBF belts, was forced to suspend training at his western Austrian base outside Kitzbuhel on Friday before heading to a hospital in Innsbruck. The 35 year old will fight Frenchman Mormeck in Dusseldorf, Germany, on Dec. 10. Klitschko, dubbed "Dr. Steelhammer," is seeking his 50th career knockout.
