The question of whether Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather will ever stage their much-awaited fight always comes up everytime any of the two boxing greats is in the news.
During an interview with Yahoo Sports writer Kevin Iole in the Filipino capital Manila the same issue was revisited. According to Pacquiao, he has always been ready to fight, but the delay is as a result of Mayweather’s lack of “interest” that dragged matters.
“He talks, he says all this, but you know what: He doesn’t want the fight,” Pacquiao told Yahoo! Sports’ Kevin Iole, citing examples of failed negotiations between the two in relation to the share of revenue in January of 2012.
In a fight expected to generate 160 million in pay-per-view money, Pacquaio is not willing to bargain for the 40 million dollar without any share pay-per-view money as presented by Mayweather.
