Jinkee Pacquiao, wife of Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao, wants her husband to hang up the gloves.This coming after Pacquiao suffered an upset defeat at the hands of Juan Manuel Marquez last Saturday by way of knockout. His wife was noticeably distraught immediately following the match as she watched her significant other lay motionless in the ring after receiving a decisive right-handed blow from Marquez.“It’s the first time I’ve seen him like that, lying on the canvas, and I was scared,” she said, according to USA Today. “I know he is still [capable] of fighting, but for me there is nothing to prove. He already has eight [title] belts. He can retire — stop — at any time. I want him to stop now.”Mrs. Pacquiao later added: “He is the one who has the last say,” she said. “Boxers risk their lives. [Some] end up in wheelchairs. I don’t want that to happen to Manny.”The 33-year old has earned over $62 million in winnings and endorsements throughout his boxing career, according to Forbes.
