Marquez, also known as Dinamita, is the current three division world champion and has won a number of titles including Ring Magazine Lightweight Title (2009-present), World Boxing Organization Lightweight Title (2009-present), World Boxing Association Lightweight Title (2009), which was stripped from him because he fought outside it last year. Marquez could have fought with Lamont Peterson, but WBA’s order for a Lamont-Khan rematch meant he had to change course and take on undefeated Cesar Cuenca.
