Winning Against the Odds:
Former contender Maurice Harris takes on young prospect Nagy Aguilera in a 12 round heavyweight contest in an off TV fight.
Harris, many will recall, was a hot and cold contender in the late 90's and early in this decade. He had ability and talent, fought many top guys, but never had the best chin and perhaps was mismanaged during portions of his career which resulted in some tough losses.
Aguilera is a youngster with a good amateur pedigree. He has fast hands and surprising power. He will explode with combinations and can catch people cold. He blitzed former title holder Oleg Maskaev in 1 round last year and has a slew of early KO's.
Aguilera was stopped when he stepped up against murderous puncher Sam Peter. Aguilera was boxing well but was caught in the 2nd round and simply couldn't recover.
Harris does have ability and is on the comeback trail. He seems to be taking this seriously and is down to a proper number in the mid 230's. And is looking to era...
