We’ve got a big fight coming up on Saturday, and I wouldn’t mind watching Floyd Mayweather get knocked out for once. I don’t really know if Miguel Cotto is good enough to do it, but I’m so fed up with Mayweather’s steadfast refusal to fight Manny Pacquiao that I’ve turned on Floyd completely. You want to be the best? Fight the guy who everyone thinks is better than you, not Miguel “I’m not very important in the boxing world” Cotto. Seriously – this Mayweather-Pacquiao fight is never going to happen right? It’s like the Loch Ness Monster. Everyone claims that it exists, but really it’s just a bunch of elephants walking underwater. I hope they both get knocked out in their respective fights so neither of them are champions anymore. Between Pacquiao’s opposition to condom use in the Philippines and Mayweather’s consistent domestic assault and just downright douchebaggery, neither of them are particularly easy to root for.
