Manny Pacquiao will be coming off the longest layoff of his incredible career when he steps back into the ring in Macau in November. It'll also be two years since the former pound-for-pound champion's last victory. But Pacquiao thinks his bout with Brandon Rios will just be the start of his comeback, not a retirement party. Pacquiao made his last public appearance in North America on Thursday before heading back to the Philippines, where the congressman will start training camp in October. Although Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38 KOs) is unshakably confident in his abilities, trainer Freddie Roach acknowledges he'll have to discuss retirement with Pacquiao if the brawling Rios (31-1-1, 22 KOs) pulls an upset. Pacquiao also will train without longtime strength coach Alex Ariza, who was fired by Roach.

The buzz around Manny Pacquiao vs Brandon Rios is starting to pick up some steam heading into their November 23rd fight in Macau, China. Manny Pacquiao vs. Brandon Rios: Los Angeles press conference highlights

So after taking a nice little vacation all over the pacific rim and the sort of communist state of China, Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios finished off the last legs of their press tour here in the United States. On Tuesday, both fighters made a stop in New York at some fancy Chinese food restaurant in which Bob Arum ecstatically made a point of saying Chinese food was really, really...

Adrien Broner vs. Marcos Maidana November PPV Being Discussed

I would be real interested to see what type of PPV numbers that Adrien Broner could generate if he headlined a PPV. Only Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao get close or exceed a million PPV buys in boxing. If Broner can approach 500k, he could show he is ready to be a PPV force in the future. But, first the fight has to be made, here is what Golden Boy President Richard Schaefer...

Freddie Roach comments on Mayweather remark that Manny Pacquiao is “washed up”

The war of words between Manny Pacquiao’s and Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s camps is an unending affair and Pacquiao’s trainer, Freddie Roach, is adding more fuel to the fire. Roach responded to Mayweather (44-0, 26 KOs) calling Pacquiao a “has been” by saying that Mayweather is a little washed up himself. Sure one could say that about Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38 KOs) at this junction...

Manny Pacquiao and Top Rank promoter Bob Arum are backing Raymundo Beltran to blast his way to Ricky Burns’ WBO World title at the SECC in Glasgow on September 7, live on Sky Sports in the UK and on Wealth TV in the US. Arum is confident his man will do the business despite traveling to Scotland for the fight, while welterweight star Pacquiao, currently training for his November...
