Some big games in the east 2nite - Cleveland at Washington and Boston at Atlanta. I do think Cleveland will win that series but they made it tougher on themselves. U cant lose that close-out game at home. But really all they have 2 do is play. Theyve got guys who can shoot and they need 2 hit shots so that its harder to dbl team LeBron. They do that and theyll win. The Boston series, now thats a great series. No one expected the Hawks 2 play like they playin. Did u see Smooth (Joe Johnson) do his thing the other nite. Theyre making it tuff on Boston. But thats the playoffs. U get locked in, get momentum and u can win. The Hawks are provin that. Check in later Barkers, enjoy the games

What's good Barkers? Season's over 4 us, un4tunately, so it's time for me to chill. I'll lay low and rest 4 month, month and half b4 gettin back in 2 it. Then ill start training again, liftin, runnin, playin. Meantime I watch, I don't like it, but I do watch the playoffs. I want 2 see who's playin well, who's going 2 get crowned. I have no idea who's going 2 win it but San Antonio looks good right now. The guys on that team just no their role and theyve been 2gether for a long time. And they got a helluva coach. Post season is such a different game. The momentum, the atmosphere, the energy, the focus everything gets 2 a different level. The Spurs r great at it because they all no what theyre good 4 and they go out and get it done. Utah is lookin pretty good 2. Once that series gets settled its going 2 get interesting.

Hey fans out there whether or not ur 4 the nuggets, I hope all-star was a lot of fun. It felt good 2 give back and see the responses that u guys gave us. We appreciate that. There was love in New Orleans, I'm proud 2 say I look at Katrina Victims as heroes. Even tho I didn't finish the game, I cheered every minute and every possession. I enjoyed watchin as fellow Jordan brandmates Smooth (Joe Johnson) and CP3 held it down.

It was great 2 be apart of the Brand Jordan donation 2 the community of Slidell. I hope all is well and I appreciated the chance 2 be there. Each experience is special and I know the importance of youth recs and boys and girls clubs around the world. If it wasn't 4 them, the NBA as it is and generations of all-stars 2 come will be victims not only of katrina but 2 the streets. Now back 2 the whole purpose of all-stars -- well, at least me, my team. We are here and 2 win so let's kick it into high gear. I need the fans out of their seats making noise every possession appreciating what we r giving every night on the court, and us giving our efforts, feeding off that electricity that built the game. To my family, friends, colleagues, fans, sponsors, and Hood Movement. That's my crew Holding Our Own Destiny that goes 4 Katrina Victims, and each and every other city that is struggling we feel u. Yo what's good everybody? Its great 2 have the feeling of excitement. I tell u 49 points can make u feel like that but a win makes u feel that much better. I am really starting 2 get excited by what this team can accomplish. We have been having some success as of late and I am enjoying basketball 2 the fullest. The crazy thing is my jumpshot is really coming along that could be scary. LeBron over there doin the thing and u right I had no idea we could be this good but the scary thing is how good we could be. I really appreciate the compliments from LeBron and send the same back, so even when we play I hope u play well but the nuggets win lol.

Then things out west got crazy with the All Star game and trade deadline approaching. Teams r beginning 2 make plans 4 the playoffs. At the beginning of the year we all thought Kobe would 4 sure be leaving LA but boy were we wrong, and they made a power move by getting Gasol, but how bout the League big brother Shaq comin back west? We will miss u this time around as an All Star but by no means r we 2 count the big fella out. I believe he adds another dimension 2 that team they never had, and only time will tell what can be of that from my eyes, what do u think?

I'm excited bout All Star -- we get the chance 2 give the world excitement from quote, unqoute the best players in the world, so it is an honor 2 be nominated I couldn't ask 4 much more except an NBA title, then I will probably be satisfied . Til then, tune in.

What's up everyone? I gotta tell you: I am HAPPY 2 be back. There's nothin worse than watching your team play without you. I believe in our squad, and just want us 2 have a good stretch when everyone is healthy. That's when we'll know how good we really r. But I'm back and hopefully Nene will be back soon 2. Then you'll see what the Nuggets r all about.

But you always have your ups and downs, what really matters is how you pick yourself up. One thing I wanted 2 do 4 all of my fans is show everybody a little more about what keeps me going, how much I've learned throughout my life and from my years in this league. That's why I'm happy 2 announce the launch of my latest project, a documentary that we shot during the last year. Carmelo's Way. That's what we're calling it.

Back 2 the hardwood 4 me....

So its been a while since my last post, but I'm hoping the love is still there. I 've been dealing with a little ankle injury that has sidelined me 4 a few games but the team has been pickin up the slack. I couldn't thank u guys out there enough who voted 4 me, Allen and the rest of the nuggets in the running of being an All-Star. This will be my first All-Star game start but I'm hoping its not the last and with great fans like u I'm sure it won't be. I know this question is out of the way but who going 2 win the Superbowl Pats or Giants? On one hand u got a team that has been clickin since the start of the season, they hit the track running 100MPH while the Giants gradually got better throughout the year and should reach its peak in the superbowl. I think I would like 2 model our season after the Giants. They are similar 2 what our situation would have 2 be like 2 reach our goal of a championship. Every team wants 2 win but it takes lots of sacrifice and dedication 2 win it all, and many think we don't possess either trait when indeed we do. We have 2 put it 2gether at the right time and ride that wave all the way 2 the end. Again friends and fans thanks 4 all the support of our team we are appreciative of the recognition of our performance and I will be honored 2 play 4 u guys as a All-Star. Sorry 2 all the fans, rather friends, that keep in touch with me. I know its been a little while since I wrote, but we were on the road again. Man this league is tough and wins don't come easy. We played Charlotte and Atlanta, 2 games that could have and should have been won. What happened? The energy level in the buildings was crazy and that always plays a part in the game. There was a few questionable calls down the stretch but we can't rely on anyone giving or making the game 4 us.We have 2 open the game strong and finish even stronger. Plus from my position I missed some crucial free throws that could have made the difference in the game especially in Charlotte.

Just want Nene and the fans 2 know how important he is 2 us and that we r with him thru his trials of life. Nene's value is not even questionable. He's a gifted, strong, young talent who adds another dimension 2 this team. So keep his success and a speedy recovery in ur prayers. This is still a long season and we got 2 pick our face up and move on 2 the next game. I believe in this team from a fans POV at times it seems 2 be a bit shaky but that's just the NBA anybody can be beat on any given nite. So I'm goin back into this week at home 2 improve. Most important is my free throws, I take enough of them so I have 2 get that down. Stay tuned.

3-0 in the month of January seems like the ball is bouncing in our favor a little now. Its great to be on the floor with all those Nuggets players, former and present. You know its like a family once you've been 2gether cuz of the bonds that are formed as teammates. It was great 2 be out there on the floor also wit chuck (AI) as he just willed the ball in the basket play after play, ol man! When he has his mojo flowing its tough 2 stop him and all we have 2 do is just follow his lead. That's one of the benefits of having a leader by example like Iverson. He's relentless, or like he said a Killer. 21-12 doesn't seem 2 bad now, especially if this 3 in a row is any indication of what this year is 2 bring 4 the nuggets. And yeah believe it or not, I take you guys advice like, passing the ball and playing harder defense it helps my game 2 be better. I love my fans that defend me that's teamwork, that's why you guys are the 6th man. Playoff time we goin 2 need them shirts! Man you guys r the X factor in showing the basketball world we got the team, the fans, and more than enough energy and excitment in the Pepsi center 2 blow the roof off the place. Big game comin Phoenix, statement game. It would mean a lot 2 beat a top 3 team on the west whenever during the season, so lace up the boots its Wartime.

Hope you all are having a great holiday. As 4 me, we just had a few of my close friends over 4 a nice home cooked meal, and a little bundle of joy in Kiyan. Its hard 2 really ask 4 anything because of my fortunate position, but you guys are hard 2 top as a gift! I continue 2 say it because I like that yall acknowledge me and all 767, 722 of yall that are filling out all-star ballots with my name are incredible. I know KG has over a million votes which is insane. Shout out 2 the big ticket. The more of yall that vote, the more I try 2 give you what you are lookin 4. Congrats 2 China and Yao who deservingly tallied over 800,000. What's up Yao? I thought we had a connection, you tricked me into comin 2 your game this summer then told all the citizens of china 2 vote only 4 you, lol. It was fun playing in that game with Yao this summer. I had a ball be back soon. Not 2 mention, we won!!! That's what I'm talkin bout, we seeing some progress and I like it. Yesterday when I looked on the court and seen AI, Kmart, Nene, Chucky and LK, man I was like huh it looks a little different with all this. Maybe 4 the holidays we should ask solely 4 health. If our team stays healthy 4 the remainder of the season I like our chances. Not 2 discredit any other team, but we are strong inside and outside. As long as you, the fans, my sixth man, stay strong we can continue 2 grow as I know we can. Recognizing you guys isn't hard 4 me cuz you recognize me all the time. I mean, could you imagine the feeling of something that means nothin 2 me that changes another persons day, rather life, cuz you guys treasure us 4 life. I appreciate it sincerely. I know you all were tuned in the last couple nites you had 2 feel that energy. I mean we did so many things right, but the few things we did wrong are what we have 2 key in on. What yall think? All your comments gave me life I needed, sometimes I know the crowd is there, but I don't think they know how important they are. It would be cool 2 look in the crowd and see everyone with 6th man signs and shirts screaming and chantin lets go nuggets lets go. Hahaha I mean you guys r actually that important, we need you. It brings the best out of us. This applies 4 you other cities 2 not just denver. We don't need 2 fight but competition with sportsmanship is wonderful. I have learned a lot in my brief intro 2 this league and I love 2 hear what everyopne thinks cuz it makes the game what it is. I hope you enjoy your holidays cuz it is very important 2 cherish them, life is short may god bless Sean Taylor's family, Darrent Williams family and the many others who will be missing loves ones this xmas. Well enough talkin I'm bout 2 kick into gear got 2 get a one game win streak goin that's my motto, one game at a time.

Well right now it feels like we can't get it on track. I mean its really frustrating. I just sit in my sweaty uniform after the game with all the poor, unacceptable contributions spinning in my head. I sit there searchin for answers 4 bout an hr or more. I appreciated my coaches, friends, and you fans that continue 2 support us and told me 2 pick myself up cuz the season is long. You are all right the season is long, but basketball aside I'd like 2 join in on the season of spirit with a "Very Melo Xmas" which take place 2nite sharing in on a little teamwork with the family resource center in doin a honor 2 society. Its feels good 2 give back 2 the community especially during Xmas. Besides my family, which includes everyone from, family, friends, colleagues, and teammates to the fans, the kids, 2 you. Merry Christmas. Stay tuned help us 2 ignite this fire, lets go nuggets, lets go.

So I went from runner up in the all star balloting, to just missing the game the following year, then I finally make it by the skin of my teeth, mainly because of an immature decision but still an unbelievable experience. Now thanks to you guys, which I greatly appreciate, I'm the front runner for forwards and #2 behind Kobe Bryant! I'm usually waitin around thinkin I will get picked but knowing that there are so many great players who perform year in year out you can never be too sure. Guys like Shawn Marion, Carlos Boozer people that just work hard nothin extra but good players. Just to think that you guys out there support me regardless of what is goin on I truly thank you. This doesn't mean that now because it appears that I will be in attendance at the game, doesn't mean my work stops here. I am goin to try my best to grow as have my fans, so stick around.
