Trust me when I say this, but you will never see a stranger ending to a football game in your life. And I mean like ever. Leave it to those crazy Canucks (of which I am one, and proud of it), and their special brand of football. You know, the CFL, with it’s three downs, eight teams, and bigger ball. Yeah, that CFL. Only in Canada could a game finish like this, in a totally wild and almost inexplicable fashion, and yet still be within the rules of play. To help you get a better understanding of the bedlam that’s taking place at the end of this game between the Montreal Alouettes and the Toronto Argos, here’s three uniquely CFL rules you have to know.. if a team misses a field goal, they can still score a single point, known as a “rouge” if they a) recover the ball in the end zone, or b) the ball goes out the back of the end zone at the end of the kick the ball is still alive if it is touched by a member of the opposing team players can advance...
