All in all, the selection committee for the Men's 2008 Baketball Tournament did a better job than most years. But, there are a few areas (as always) that they got wrong:
- Making Memphis go potentially through Texas -- in Houston.
- Butler, ranked near the Top 10 (currently #12 AP) for a while, goes 29-3, runs away with the Horizon by four games, wins its conference tournament, and is rewarded with a very low 7 seed, against a dangerous South Alabama team, [...]
