Eagles continue to Sign BUMS!!!!!

I love my BIRDS, but this non-sense has got to stop. Why does my team continue to REACH for talent. Joselio and J.R. are alright players, not top notch and they are not difference makers. WTF!!!! is going on? I am at a lost for words can any eagle fan make me feel better about this? I think we are in for another season down the tubes. In the words of mike tyson this is Ludacris!!!!!!

not all players on a team can be top notch players, there are a such thing as back-ups and special teams players. Joselio and JR are restricted free agents who they offered the lowest tender too.

What do you mean? These are depth players neither one will start. Just because we resigned these two players doesn't mean we will have a disappointing offseason. Plus they are both solid backups.

yeah they are solid jr. reed for the position that he is suppose to be which is Safety he is good at it and aggresive as a tackler and Joselio is a way better CB than Will James Will James Talks to much Crap and dont know how to deliver i know that when he has played he has helped the other teams win because he was the weak link on our defense so those to are keepers cuz if we dont get a punt returner they will back up for emergency situations n its only one yr. plus if someone else trys to get Joselio its a Laden Contract which means the eagles will be compensated for a 2nd draft pick

dude eagleman chillax will ya...these are just backup signings and special teams players, its all good

i like both of them they not bad at all

JR had some real nice hits last year!

thanks guys i feel better now....I am just toooo hyped and I want some results .....I am just gonna hope they get this thing right this year.

they were the only RFA on the team. Now that we have them signed we are 100% ready to make and FA moves we want . . . or trades. I loke that we are always on top of the ball. Some of you Eagles fans to realize that there is a lot more to running a successful offseason other than signing/trading for big name players. These moves aren't to please the fans, they are to solidify our current squad before we attempt to improve on it during the offseason.

i'm not THAT angry about juselio, he played great vs. the cowboys earlier this year. JR i don't know, i just wish they would get someone better to return kicks. however they did get rid of reno "fair catch" mahe, now that mans a bum.

ya man, theyre both talented players and they both got one year deals, not a big deal

i think the eagles have handled their own salaries quite well, and now its time for FA Baby! Once again, i think both these were quality tender offers and quality signs.. Now lets spend some money folks!

I like the idea of resignin Reed and hanson both are decent players that will provide depth for us .. just think about it.. wat if a starter goes down?? thatz y we resigned them.. dnt wry we will get GREAT players in free agency/draft

dude.... back off, if you really loved your birds than you would realize that Reed did an outstanding job this year filling in at safety and on special teams... Joselio deserves to be back too... i like the move

i think its smart

woo hoo!!! less than five hours till the show starts

i understand what your saying but every player cant be great, when you have a good player playing along another good player you get a greate combinatation and id rather have a team of good players, thena team of bad players with 1 or 2 stars

this just in, some eagles fans need the eagles to sign 53 superstars for their roster, whatever morons, stop embarrassing the rest of us intelligent fans.

no harm young players i didnt think they would get cut anyway...ever heard of a nickel back? no i dont mean the band either

Well I appreciate all of your input and I see what you guys are saying. I have just seen the EAGLES make bad deals in the past. I just hope this works out. Sorry if i offended anyone, but this is why we BLOG right ?????

Both are very good people to lock down. As I noted in a previous article, JR Reed was a real surprise with his incredible speed and hitting power. I don't think the Eagles planned on hanging on to him when they brought him in out of desperation this past season to help out in the return game (a role he filled with not much excitement overall.) But when he got in as safety, he shocked some folks. I guarantee that he'll be sticking around for a while. Hanson showed that he's got nice speed an very good cover ability. He'll be getting some playing time too.

Just think....Reed put that monster hit on Moss that took him out of the New England Game....Moss didnt even want the ball after that

I stand corrected........The BIRDS MADE IT HAPPEN>>>>>>>>>>
