Twitter/@UKAthletics Many predicted this as a possible round of 32 match-up, and the selection committee has made it so. No. 1 seed Wichita State took care of Cal Poly, while Kentucky won a low scoring affair against Kansas State, preventing a Sunflower State showdown. The winner of this one will meet Louisville in the Sweet 16. Be sure to click here for more on Wichita State and Kentucky. Also, check out our printable bracket here. Date: Sunday, March 23, 2014 Time:  2:45 PM EST TV Channel: CBS Location: Scottrade Center (St. Louis, MO) Announcers: Jim Nantz, Greg Anthony, Tracy Wolfson Opening Betting Line: Kansas -3 (135) via Odds Shark Prediction: Wichita State will undoubtedly be the favorite in this one, a 35-0 record earns them that, but Kentucky should prove to be the toughest test that the Shockers have seen this year. The Wildcats have significant size inside unlike what Wichita has seen, especially in NBA Lottery hopeful Julius Randle. What the Shockers have on Kentucky is consistency and experience. Gregg Marshall’s club went to the Final Four last year while Kentucky was bounced early from the NIT. This one can certainly go either way. UK has played inspired basketball as of late, and Kentucky should have a lot of fans in St. Louis, but Wichita State is undefeated for a reason. This game will cement the ‘Cats as a dangerous contender, or the Shockers as the real deal.
