Oklahoma State vs. Baylor is not a game that I would normally be very excited about, but I was glad that I tuned in last night for the thriller. The game stayed within striking distance pretty much the whole time which lead to an exciting ending.
With 15 seconds to go in overtime, and the game tied, Baylor seemed to have everything in control. Pierre Jackson of Baylor penetrated into the lane and dished off to teammate AJ Walton, who appeared
to have the game-winning layup. Little did he know Michael Cobbins of OK State had different plans. Cobbins came up with the block of his career which led to a fast break layup by Markel Brown that would eventually win the game.
The victory moves the Cowboys to 16-5, and they currently sit in third place in the Big 12 standings. Look for these guys to turn a few heads in the next couple weeks and possibly make a deep run in the March Madness tournament next month.
