The Ohio State basketball team took care of the Nebraska with ease on Saturday night in Lincoln. Behind 15 points from senior guard William Buford and 14 each from forwards Jared Sullinger and DeShaun Thomas, the Buckeyes cruised to a 79-45 win over the Cornhuskers. While the Buckeyes did not play their best basketball in this game, they did quite enough to beat Nebraska worse than they did earlier in the month on January 3rd. However, the fact that this team has struggled to play up to their full potential on the road this year is definitely a concern. Coming into the contest, they held a 2-3 road record, including 1-2 in the Big Ten. Despite that, the win moved the Buckeyes into a three-way tie with Michigan and Michigan State for first place in the conference.
