Anyone see the UCLA/Stanford game tonight?

The refs blew the game at the end of regulation by calling a foul on Lawrence Hill, who had the cleanest block of all time. What a shame considering Hill had just hit the game winning shot and Stanford dominated the entire game.

That was the cleanest block of all time. Stanford got jobbed. Terrible call by the official. However, UCLA still could have had a decent shot with 2 seconds left and the ball out of bounds on the baseline.

I saw it. After that horrible call I turned it off. Besides the fact that it was 1 AM here, I just believe you should let the kids decide the game.

I was going to add that, at that point, I just knew UCLA was going to win. I had not checked the score, yet, so I didn't want to assume that the refs had given the game to UCLA. But, obviously, they did.

Not to mention Stanford outplayed UCLA the entire game.

I am hoping for a rematch in the pac 10 tourney.

That was a Bad call on the CLEAN BLOCK but don't leave out that fact that Love was run down by Hill on the previous play and they counted the basket instead of blowing the whistle on Hill who clearly ran into Love who was in defensive position.

you're crazy, Love flopped on that one. There was almost no contact.

It was a flop. Contact is part of the game. But every time a guy falls down it's not a charge (unless you play for Duke). Block or no-call - I agree with a no-call.

Not even close. I hate Flops too but they usually happen when someone is backing down or when someone jumps in front of a player already on the move and falls down from the contact they intiated.. Love did neither. He was already in the post - in position with his hands straight up. Watch it again.

The block was clean, but HIll hit Collison with his lower body (even signaled by the ref if you watch it closely) and he also hit Collison's arm with his other arm before blocking the shot.

That was the cleanest block. Ucla would of lost that then, the California game that shouldnt have counted. that would be to straight loses for Ucla.

Still a flop. And still a no-call. He wasn't square - he was just there.

OH! But not to worry. Seems UCLA got another one handed to them by the refs over the weekend. I didn't see it, though. Was out of town. UCLA and the refs are on a roll.
