BC defeated San Francisco in a game that was featured as part of the Jesuit Basketball Spotlight. BC won handily 84-62 behind a solid overall team effort. Joe Trapani led the way with 22 points and 11 rebounds in one of his best all around performances of the year. He hit 4 three pointers in the game to go along with a pair of blocks. Tyrese Rice scored 21 to go along with his 9 assists and committed only 1 turnover for the game. He showed great poise and leadership during the game, an encouraging sign for the team. Corey Raji continued his hot shooting by going 8-12 from the floor to finish with 16. Freshman Reggie Jackson turned in one of his best games of his young career adding 13 points and 8 boards. Jackson is becoming a valuable and consistent 6th man for Coach Skinner. Rakim Sanders and Josh Southern were both quiet offensively. Sanders played sparingly due to foul trouble, but Southern continued to struggle to get involved within the offense.
The Eagles improved to 11-2 and face Sacred Heart Wednesday at home at 2pm.
