Every now and then, I catch an announcer or some list on the web anointing either Kevin Love or Tyler Hansbrough as THE Player of the Year. No. That's just completely wrong. Michael Beasley of Kansas State is Player of the Year - clear as day. Not only is he leading the race, he's running ahead like Secretariat.

No it's not completely wrong. All these kids are having a great year! They all play in Elite conferences, and night in and night out they leave it on the floor for 40 minutes! This race is no longer a landslide with Durant making a clean sweep! It truly is a three possibly a four man race. So with that said, I tip my New Era fitted cap off to the winner with NO BIAS ATTACHMENT.

that's cool man. but some people are definitely already coronating the other guys, and i believe if anyone should be given an edge, or designated the one to beat, it's gotta be beasley.

I wathched this guy play against KS and I wouldn't vote against him. Not sure a freshman is going to be considered for the award, which is b.s., but we'll see how he progresses and how he does in the tourney.
