Mere mortals do not attempt to do the things that Brandon Jennings does. People like you and I do not use our 40 inch vertical to sail upwards towards a metal rim only to jam a leather ball through it, smile, and return to Earth. We don't have the balls to adopt a 1989 haircut for our first excursion into the limelight (if we get a piece of the limelight at all). And most of us, will never be important enough for the NCAA to care about us. The few people lucky enough to draw ...

This article is so off base it hurts...As if Europe and money wouldn't include vices and distractions..and the very same soft game you describe Dirk suffering from is the game BJ would further develop in. Do you really think BJ would be better coached by some nameless Euro League goof ball than Lute Olson at Point Guard U?

i liked your article lol. I'll support bj whatever he decides to do, hes an amazing player and a great guy. i wish him all the success in the world (or just europe and america)

also - i noticed that your article said europe WOULD include those vices as well

if he makes grades I am sure he will go to AZ, Europe is just a fall back plan.

he did allude to the same vices...but some how BJ would ignore the soft coaching that leads to the soft game...and really would the vices be less or more when you give a kid millions? I guess more...but maybe his money will scacre the bad crowds off, especially in Europe. Not to mention the stigma he would have amongst NBA staff as the kid who bucked the system...DUMB

point gaurds don't need to avoid having a soft game because they don't play on the inside. I also don't think he would have any stigma held against him by nba staff. I mean afterall, does anyone in the NBA hold it against Lebron that he didn't assimilate to the NCAA?

Jennings is the left-hand AI,he should not go to Europe.

    G-town,recive the #3 guy,please.

BJ has the talent to be the Lefty AI...he hasn't done a thing but run his mouth so far

Oh wow, what are you talking about? That kid has game and he's not afraid to show it. With a little maturity, he could definitely be a better all-around player than A.I. Yes, I really mean that.
  • MattRandle
As you said...He could be...I love his game, but I will wait to anoint him until he does it on a bigger stage then high school...He has all the potential in the world for sure, I just think going to Europe would be a HUGE mistake in his developing that potential.

Why would Europe be so bad?

Only a small percentage of NCAA players make it to Europe after school... doesn't that seem to say that it is a higher quality of competition?
  • Hi top fade is killa!!!!! Wonder if he has pump shoes on too?
  • MattRandle
    he has style for sure
  • sure. Jennings and his high top can play on my basketball team any time. I don't have a basketball team, but, it doesn't matter. The point is: Arizona stinks.
