Cal romped by DePaul 90-62
So the first game without DeVon Hardin ended in ugly fashion, as the Bears were blown out in the second half as DePaul won 90-62. Freshman sensation Ryan Anderson was leading the Bears with 17 pts at half, but the Blue Demons shut him down in the second and nobody else stepped up as Ubaka and Wilkes struggled. The Bears have to figure out a way to play without Hardin and the younger Jordan Wilkes, the top two centers on the team. The most likely lineup would be four guards and Anderson, although they will struggle with depth issues.
