i'm pissed, we should have won that game. Fields got lucky on that 3, which makes me think, why did he do that? yeah he made it but what if he missed. pitt would have lost. thats why it was lucky. Duke will get back to winning though. Go Blue Devils!

I'm not sure that was luck. They guy is a good shooter and a clutch shooter. He got a wide open shot and sunk it like any clutch shooter can do at that point of the game. Was a damn good basketball game though.

great basketball game, i didn't think it would be so physical though. i predicted 87-82 Duke, but that wasn't the case. i wasn't expecting that kind of game, but more of a up and down high scoring one.

The Big East is much more physical than the ACC. Those boys in the Beast throw 'bows and don't complain about it. It's the way it's always been, dating back to the Ewing days at G'town.

Pitt is definitely one of the top teams, but Georgetown is probably even better. Should be a real tight race in that conference with one of them getting to the final four.

THat was such a good game

I have to believe that duke wins this game 4 out of 5 times (cause I'm a duke fan). That said Pitt's big center looks like Ray Lewis and plays basketball like him to. For me this was game was officiated and played perfectly for the Panthers. The refs were quick with the whistles in the frontcourt and Pitt managed to use that to their advantage to slow the game down to a snails pace and force duke into a half court set. I really think that this was the first game where we could've used Patrick Patterson.

Did anyone else notice that the Pitt PG who made the last second 3 is on probation? The announcers made some comment about how he is a true leader for this team although he was arrested for assault charges and put on probation which he is currently serving. Seriously is the Big East full of jailbirds? Didn't Pacman Jones go to a big east school....

Whoah there Phuck. I wouldn't call a 1 point loss in overtime getting our "butts beat". If you don't recall duke was winning the vast majority of the game. It wasn't till the end that Pitt bullied their way back into it with all those trips to the line.

I'm a Duke fan and watched the game and was very upset that they lost the game. But you know Coach K he is going to have this team come right back into practice and work on those problems and have them winning again and again. But I have to give Pittsburgh its kudos particularly to Levance Fields and Dejuan Blair for playing so well, and so betting them they have lost their first game in December since 2000 winning 36 times in a row. But Duke will come back and win all the rest of the games of the year and they will bet North Carolina, too!!!!!

damn i think its pretty weak to lose to a pitt team with one of its best players injured, and anyways duke would have way more than 1 loss if they played out of conference teams better than NM state and Davidson, and if the ACC wasn't in a fat down year, so yeah, paulus needs to stick to calculus cause that fool is the most garbage D1 powerhouse point guard in the country. "ACC in a fat down year." what the hell. almost all the teams in the ACC are good this year. Duke is a very good basketball team, Pitt just was lucky to get that 3 at the end. also Pitt lost Cook to injury in OT, he wasn't out the whole game.

Dont bring Davidson into this, because they are a very good mid major team.
