Duke goes into Beast Mode, defeats UNC 89-78
The #2 Duke Blue Devils defeated the #3 North Carolina Wednesday night by the score of 89-78. Ty Lawson sat this one out and it appeared to cost UNC, who could not run as good as they could with his presence. Tyler Hansborough had 28 points, but a poor shooting night for Wayne Ellington (3-14 8pts.) was a major factor in the game. And another well balanced scoring night for Duke was a key for their victory. Duke now moves to 20-1 0n the year and UNC falls to 21-2.
