Heisman Hopefuls for 2008 (Spicer’s Top Ten)

Last season was a season to be remembered, primarily for the mass amount of upsets of a monumental value, those that come to mind are Appalachian State over Michigan and Stanford downing Southern Cal. No, it wasn't fun to be ranked number two nationally last season, and there was plenty ...

Great to see Armanti Edwards on the list

I am a huge DMC fan, and wanted him to win last year...BAD! But Tim needs to be at the top of this list... He will be the second guy to win the heisman twice.

yes, Tebow should be at the top of the list.....he reps Nease all day, ya digg

I am the world's biggest Florida fan but I agree with Ben that he won't win it this year. Tebow is probably college football's best player but with the emergence of Chris Rainey and Emanuel Moody, as well as Percy Harvin's stardom there's no way Tebow scores more than 40 TDs this year. Cameron Newton will also be a big time ball carrier in the Gators offense.

thats all true.....I'm an FSU fan, but I'd liketo see Tebow win it again just because he played HS football at Nease, where I currently play, he's a legend around here. So yeah, even though he's a Gator, he's one of my favorites

Yes I live near Hoover high school who you guys played on ESPN when he was at Nease during his senior season. I dislike Hoover very much because it has been proven that they had many recruiting scandals during their dominating five years at the top of the high school football frontier. I also just finished playing high school football.....I wish you better luck than me buddy......I scored two touchdowns in our first game of my senior season, my 10th season, and then broke my leg in game two. I missed the rest of the season. I played at West Blocton by the way, a very small school.

About FSU, man you guys are going to get Florida back for this winning streak we have going on you guys soon....and I'm not looking forward to it, lol.

I'm glad you don't like Hoover, too. Nobody that's a Nease fan likes Hoover either. We did hear about the scandals and the whole Rush Propst incident and that just made us dislike them more........man, sorry to hear about your broken leg, that must suck real bad, I never had any injury and I hope it stays that way, but jeez, that broken leg must have sucked.....West Blocton, I'll look you guys up..........I don't think FSU will get you guys this year, but maybe the next, just sad I couldn't celebrate a win over Florida in a while :)

Yea I actually have a newspaper article you can look up online to see the first game of my senior season (my only game), I actually got the headline in the Tuscaloosa News the next day....and Propst is a disgrace to football

And yeah it sucked man. By the way I didn't fumble this ball, it was a screen pass and the field was wet, I got my knee down before it came out. Man it's an awful picture, lol.

Nice job, I'd like to have my name on the headline

No Pat White? He's my pick. If he stays healthy last year, WVU goes undefeated and plays in the national title. His stats and winning could've been Heisman material.

I am going to do my own list soon guys, and yes White would be on it and Tebow wouldn't be outside the top 10. Even if he won't win it he's going to receive a lot of recognition for winning it last year. Still, Ben did a good job thinking outside the box here.
