Hopefully it was merely a case of a young man speaking out of frustration and nothing more.One more thing I've heard all day on ESPN that's unsettling: no team that's lost their first-round conference tournament game has ever won the national title. The new polls were released on Monday and Pitt landed at #2 in the AP, just three points behind North Carolina in one of the closest votes in history. The Big East had three of the top five, four of the top 10, and six of the top 25. The ESPN/USA poll also had the Panthers at #2, although the margin in that voting was 27 points.
