Training camp opened up yesterday for the NBA so the enthusiasm in New Jersey for the new look Nets is absolutely positively the talk of the town. Forget the Jets or Giants or the Mets collapse, or even psycho Stephon the Big Apple is buzzin over Brook Lopez and Chris Douglas-Roberts... or not. It looks as if the New Jersey Nets aren't getting quite the Season Ticket Holder bump...

"Rubbish" is the word that Telegraph TV from the UK used to describe the basketball skills of Devin Harris and Brook Lopez.
And I don't blame them. If you were to judge the skills of Harris and Lopez as basketball doctors from the demo video below, then you would think they were quacks.

Loved the defensive intensity tonight. Absolutely loved it. KG set the tone in the first quarter with 8 pts, 3 reb and 1 block. Any thoughts the C’s were going to have trouble with the size of Brook Lopez were quickly erased (especially after watching Scalabrine and Pierce each block his shot).
