A New Worry For The NCAA
This makes utterly perfect sense when you stop and think about it but the key word is stop. In this article about Blake Griffin, James Johnson told Dino Gaudio that he had been approached by runners on Facebook, neatly intersecting two major forces facing the remnants of amateur athletic competition: ...
I can't believe that just f___ing happened!
Is it dead? Damn skippy. The Sun Devils played true team basketball today to drop the Cats for the second time this season, sweeping UA on the season and winning at McKale for the first time since 1995. James Harden was limited by a flu virus and was held out of practice for most of the week, but he ...
Education Is Still The Answer
Earlier this week, Andy Katz of ESPN wrote
about a subject that I have covered many times on this blog: the

subject of the article was Blake Griffin, who every
analyst and self-proclaimed analyst has being picked by whatever team

Jets get Defensive…
If you haven’t noticed, Mike Tannenbaum and the Jets brass have made an effort the past two years to build this team towards the defense. Whether it’s building the O-line so the running game can take pressure off the defense, or the moves to bring in Jenkins, Pace, Scott, Sheppard, etc… the Jets are building to be an imposing force.
The Jets are now in a position...

The four finalists for the Naismith Award are out. You can't really argue the four names that are included: DeJuan Blair, Blake Griffin, Tyler Hansbrough and Hasheem Thabeet. Isn't it a lock the award goes to Griffin? Although, the fans can sway the vote as their tallies make up for 25% of the voting.

A Very Sweet Sixteen
Message to the whiners: Who cares if there is no Cinderella?
In fact, I'll take it a step further. It's a good thing there's no Cinderella! It means the best teams are still playing. Sure, Cleveland St. and Western Kentucky were fun stories, but they're just not the same quality as the teams we have left. Instead, we have a selection of truly outstanding matchups...
