The loss was the fifth straight overall for the Zephyrs, it gave the Sounds a four-game series sweep, and has the Z's picking up a second straight series loss.The Z’s struck first with a run in the first inning, but Nashville tied the game in the third with a run of their own. In both the fourth and fifth innings the leadoff hitter for Nashville blasted a home run. First it was Joe Koshansky who went deep, and then Matt Gamel as the Sounds hit a total of five homers between Sunday and Monday’s games.Z’s starter Brett Sinkbeil picked up the loss as and is now 0-2 against the Sounds this season. Out of the pen, Willie Collazo and Brian Sanches each allowed just one hit and no walks in two shutout innings of work.ADVERTISEMENTMike Burns was inserted as the starter for Nashville at the last minute and allowed only two runs over seven innings to earn the win.
