Since football is becoming pretty depressing on all basis, here is a "Quick Hit Post". I heard on the news this evening that sophomore point guard Scoop Jardine might be red shirting this coming season.

Another press conference, another wild statement

I just read the Greg Robinson press conference from today. It is posted at the Daily Orange blog (a daily must stop for SU fans). You can read it all, it is worth it if you into things like that, which I am.

When you pass the line...

Well, I been waiting a bit, had to make sure I was correct in seeing that Antown Bailey, the young man inserted into the game tied and the Panthers gaining momentum, had never been on the field yet.

Carr on the hill?

Last night I came home from a nice time out with my wife to read on Troy Nunes is an absolute Magician that Lloyd Carr (yes, the ex Michigan coach) was on the Syracuse Campus. Sean had a link to another great SU site, Orange::44, who was the one reporting this. A week ago Brent Axe had commented in his post game blog about Carr being on campus.

Winning isn't an explosion, it's a mentality

I did my recap for the Syracuse game, and you can read it here. But I have to say this, which I didn't want to put into the other blog. What happened to Robinson's theory that when the team wins it's going to explode, or whatever he said in the ESPN interview?

Even D.C. knows how bad SU is

While there are plenty of people that might say that ESPN isn't as good as it could be, or that there is a lot better out there than the World Leader in Sports, the fact is pretty simple (at least for me), when the Bristol, Connecticut based company speaks, a lot of people listen and follow.

Who could have won that game? Not Robinson!

I just wanted to get this small post out, because something was said that truly has me going off here. It was Brent Axe the culprit, and he said "Lloyd Carr would have won this game" (followed by a couple of kidding's) in his Blogging in the Box from the Carrier Dome.
