Ballard 1 Garfield 0
The Garfield seniors were unable to salvage a win in their last home game, falling to Ballard 1-0. The Beavers struck early with a goal at the seven minute mark by Cassie Winters. The Bulldogs had a couple good chances in the game, including a shot just wide of an open net. The game was tight until the very end, when a cross from Bulldog freshman Jane Markman hit a sliding Tory Sheffield on the foot, but the shot ricocheted off the side post, and the referee ended the game soon afterwards.
