Yes, the Wildcats now sit at 4-5 and are in the middle of their first four-game losing streak since the '89-'90 season. However, Kentucky fans have a lot to be excited about in terms of looking ahead to the future. FIO staff writer Dan Rossi discusses how new head coach Billy Gillispie will rectify this team. Gillispie has a great track record, and with some quality early commitments, the Wildcats could be singing a different tune next season.

Gillispie will turn this team around. He did amazing work at Texas A&M. The players better be ready to work hard because this man will work them like dogs. He will get results and maybe before this year is over. Don't count them out yet.

Probaby too lazy anyway. Gillispie is not one to keep cream puffs on a team, no matter how good they are. If they are not willing to work, then adios. That's the way it should be.

I give Gillepsie 5 yrs and he'll have a national championship.....He is a great recruiter. He turned around the A&M BB program and the UTEP programs, in which he suceeded the legendary Don Haskins who is the only coach to have a national championship in basketball in Texas. Like I said you give Gillepsie time to recruit and he will have blue chippers lined up in kentucky.
