After having just traveled around Europe for the last month- The new contributor to The BearDown wanted to give us her reasons why BJ made a poor choice. 1. The Exchange Rate: Ok so you'll be getting a salary instead of a stipend, seems like a better deal but let me remind you that the Pound to the dollar is 2-1 and the Euro is 1.5 to 1.     The exchange rate is 1 euro = 1.6 dollars so he will actually be making more money
    • Actually what that exchange rate means is that for every Euro you get you've spent 1.6 dollars, so not the other way around. Therefore if he makes 20 million Euro's hes getting around 12 million dollars, which is less.
  • Actually he wont, that 1.6 dollars is how much it takes to get 1 Euro- therefore it basically means it takes more dollars to get less Euro, just sayin.
