It was a tough season for the Cavaliers, and it cost Dave Leitao his job. New coach Tony Bennett brings a defensive minded approach to a team that was the worst in the conference and one of the worst in the nation. The faces remain the same for the most part.

The ACC's top freshman, Sylven Landesberg, returns and will be the go to guy for the Cavs on offense. Landesberg averaged 16.6 points per game last season. The point guard position will be handled by a trio of players this season: senior Calvin Baker, sophomore Sammy Zeglinksi, and freshman Jontel Evans.

The frontcourt doesn't do much offensively. The main scoring threat in the frontcourt is junior Mike Scott, who did average 10 points and seven rebounds last season. Jamil Tucker is also a scoring threat, but is a very streaky shooter. One person who could contribute immediately is freshman Tristan Spurlock, who very well could start at small forward from day one.

Fantasy Player to Watch

Sylven Landesberg is one of the few reliable scorers on the team. Virginia did not shoot the ball well as a team, but Landesberg found a way to put points on the board. Landesberg had 12 20-point games last season as a freshman. He got to the foul line a lot, and converted 80% of his free throws.
