Was Kansas basketball star eligible to play for national champion Jayhawks?

Kansas forward Darrell Arthur, who was second in scoring for the Jayhawks during their championship run, reportedly had his grades altered at South Oak Cliff High School, which allowed him to go to Kansas. His former math teacher said his math grade was changed without her knowing. You know who else graduated from South Oak Cliff? J'Mison Morgan, a top center recruit who is thinking about going to UCLA. I think a thorough Yardbarker investigation is in order.

This is no suprise...I like what the Nab is doing making them go to college for one year..But Dick Vitale a Ncaa Guru said what is the point...These kids don't wan't to learn, they don't wan't an education they wan't money that is it....Your getting one year out of these athletes and it is discusting... Think about it the last 4 year college student to go Number on was who Tim Duncan...All tehse college basketball players care about is money not winning not losing.... Michael Beasley, Carmelo, Oden,Durant, they make it seem like it is a hard decision but it's not.. and can you blame them they don't wan't to go to college they wan't the money now... and they are forced to go to school. So what do they do go one year and drop out...

Arthur apparently studied and made satisfactory progress at KU. What the HS did would not reflect on Arthur's performance 2 years later.
