Wazzu makes SI.com Magic Eight List

Although it was nice to be cruising under the radar, between this story and the front page of the USA Today Sports section under the radar doesn't fit anymore, the Cougars are receiving some well-deserved respect for a great first half of the season. The Cougs have worked to the top of the nations best conference under new coach Tony Bennett.

Might be a little premature. Oregon is a better team in the PAC 10.

Amazing to see what happens when you get a group of kids to believe in a system. Dick Bennett did a great job of developing these players.

The hell with the coaches, fellas, the Cougs have some legit players this year. Props go out to both father and son for getting them there, but it's the players that have played with (and beaten) the best in the nation.
