March Madness has begun! Never mind the NCAA tourney, we’re talking football in March. Thanks to all of you who voted for the worst bust in Raider history. The majority went with Todd Marinovich, that was a given as he grabbed over 70% of the vote. In a distant second was a man still on the Raider roster, Michael Huff. Now that you picked the two worst busts to ever wear Silver and Black, it’s time to pick the worst busts to ever play in the NFL. Does Marinovich have what it takes to go all the way? You decide! The FanSided.com Sports Network has started the Worst Man Drafted Tourney, a field of 64 busts will compete for your votes to be declared the worst draft pick of all-time! Throw our Raider busts under the bus or feel free to push through a few Charger, Chief and Bronco picks. Tourney main page: Worst Man Drafted Tournament West Region: Ryan Leaf is the #1 seed, Marinovich is #2. We could be looking at a fierce battle for worst QB to ever play in the AFC West with a birth in the Final Four at stake.  The best first round match up is the #8 seed Pacman Jones against #9 Fred-ex Mitchell East Region: This is the QB brackett. Todd Blackledge, Tommy Maddox, Jim Druckenmiller, Alex Smith, David Carr, Akili Smith, Heath Shuler: That’s a who’s who of nobodies. The best match up might just be an upset with #2 Heath Shuler looking over his shoulder at former XFL MVP, the #15 seed Tommy Maddox. North Region: Here we find our own Micheal Huff as a #16 seed. Can he make history and pull off the upset by knocking off  #1 seeded Tony Mandarich? South Region: The South might be the toughest bracket. #7 Rae Carruth vs #10 Kyle Brady, #8 Cade McNown vs #9 Ken O’Brien, #6 Maurice Clarett vs #11 Mike Williams (the OT not the WR, that Mike Williams is in the North). Get out and vote! Feel free to spread the word! If you want to drop a few comments to have your voice heard or to complain about the selection committee, feel free.

Forget What Lions Did; It's What They DIDN'T Do That Was Lovely

I'm sure some of it wafted over to you, like something foul-smelling from the kitchen garbage, in the first quarter. The Lions capped off a 99-yard drive by ... throwing an interception into the end zone. Maybe you didn't get it that badly until Roy Williams made like Mike Williams and let an easy catch spurt out of his hands, into those of a timely Raiders DB -- late in...

The 49ers have signed QB J.T. O’Sullivan to a 1-year contract.  O’Sullivan played for new offensive co-ordinator Mike Martz last season in Detroit and that’s a big reason why he will battle for the #3 job on the Niners behind Alex Smith and Shaun Hill.  O’Sullivan played in ...

Second Quarter Slaughter All the Niners Need in the Win over St.Louis

The 49a??ers have not had all that much to cheer about during many parts of the 2008 season, but Sunday for at least 15 minutes, football at Monster Park was a whole lot of fun.
