Xavier guard slams A-10 picks for All-Conference team

Stanley Burrell was named the A-10's Defensive Player of the Year yesterday, but he was none too pleased when the rest of the All-Conference Team was announced. His anger stems from the fact that none of his fellow teammates were named to the 1st team. The Musketeers are ranked 10th in the nation at 26-5, 14-2 but had ZERO individual players named to the A-10 1st team.

"This league is pathetic," Burrell said. "We went 14-2, top 10 in the nation. Forget first team, Josh is probably the player of the year. You've got the best team and nobody on the first-team all-conference team? It's ridiculous. You talk about not having motivation? We got plenty now. I'm really looking forward to Atlantic City now."
