We heard it from Saturday into Thursday night. Cornell was the magical pick. They were the 2010 version of George Mason.Kentucky was young, inexperienced and could not guard the three-point prowess of these Cornell stars.And let's don't forget, Cornell was a 'smart' basketball team.Well...a 17-point win later, the Cats remain the team to beat.Kentucky came out and truly impressed me on the defensive end. They were in your face and full of energy. And unlike early in the season, they played their defensive switches to absolute perfection.When I played ball, coaches used to tell us to get up in our defender and be able to tell what kind of toothpaste he used that morning. Kentucky did that last night.Their offense may have been atrocious in the second half, but their defensive effort far outweighed the negative parts of their game.Other power points of the game:How far has this team come?
