Duke’s Mason Plumlee and Virginia Tech’s Erick Green have been named Co-ACC Players of the Week, while the Blue Devils’ Rasheed Sulaimon has been selected the conference’s Rookie of the Week following outstanding performances this past week.Green averaged 26.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists as the undefeated Hokies posted homecourt wins over Iowa and No. 15 Oklahoma State. In Tuesday’s 95-79 win over the Hawkeyes, the Winchester, Va., senior was 8-for-15 from the field and led all scorers with 24 points to go along with five assists and five rebounds. In Saturday’s 81-71 victory over the Cowboys, Green had career-highs in points (28) and rebounds (7) in just 26 minutes of action, due to early foul trouble. Green has scored at least 20 points in all seven games this season and leads the ACC in scoring (24.9).Plumlee recorded a pair of double-doubles and averaged 19.5 points, 14.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game as the second-ranked Blue Devils remained undefeated following wins over No. 4 Ohio State and Delaware. The Warsaw, Ind., senior shot 60.0 percent (12-of-20) from the field and 68.2 percent (15-of-22) from the foul line for the week. Plumlee opened the week with a 21-point, 17-rebound effort in a 73-68 come-from-behind win against the Buckeyes. In Saturday’s 88-50 victory over Delaware, Plumlee was 6-of-9 from the field, finishing with 18 points and 11 rebounds in only 24 minutes.Sulaimon averaged 15.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game in wins over No. 4 Ohio State and Delaware. The Houston, Texas, native scored 17 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in the win over the Buckeyes. After going scoreless in the opening half, he scored 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting as Duke overcame a 10-point deficit over the final 20 minutes of play. Sulaimon reached double figures for the seventh straight game with 14 points on 6-of-12 shooting in Saturday’s win over Delaware. He also added four rebounds and a season-high six assists against the Blue Hens.
